Rest Is Not a Luxury. It’s a Lifeline.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed people can change the world; indeed it’s the only thing that ever has.”
- Margaret Mead
These are the people who rarely raise their hands to ask for help.
Who keep showing up even when the ground underneath them is unsteady.
Who are long overdue for stillness, perspective, and grace.
This offering was born from them. And maybe, from someone you love too.
It wasn’t inspired by financial need. It was inspired by the deep knowing that sometimes, rest has to be offered—not suggested. Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is look someone in the eye and say:
“You’re coming with me.”
Because let’s be honest—many of the people who need rest the most won’t choose it for themselves. They’ll push through. They’ll say “maybe later.” They’ll wait for life to quiet down (and it never does). That’s why this year, I’m creating space for something different:
Sponsor someone in need of rest
We’re opening one fully-sponsored spot on our Provence retreat for a guest who is in need of healing, perspective, and a return to themselves. Lodging, meals, and all retreat experiences will be covered. The only requirement? You must come too.
This isn’t a giveaway.
It’s an invitation—to pause life together. To step out of the swirl and into a slower rhythm.
To reconnect not only with someone you care about, but to become part of a larger community—fellow travelers who value presence, curiosity, and meaningful connection.
It’s about sharing a week filled with beauty, movement, conversation, and the kind of quiet joy that only reveals itself when you finally give yourself permission to slow down.
When we show up authentically to a place and its people, something beautiful happens: we stop being extractive tourists and become contributing participants. Our presence becomes a gift rather than a transaction.
It’s about saying to someone you love, “Let’s do this. Not someday. Now.”
Here’s how it works:
Fill out a short nomination form telling us who you’d like to bring and why.
You must attend the retreat as a paying guest alongside your nominee.
We’ll review each nomination with deep care. We’re not looking for perfect writing—just sincerity and heart.
The retreat will take place in Provence—a place that invites deep exhale. Mornings begin with yoga, hikes through olive groves, or bike rides along vineyard-lined roads. We linger over long lunches on winemakers’ verandas and wander vibrant open-air markets. Afternoons bring unscheduled time to nap, read by the pool, or simply follow whatever calls you. And in the evenings, we gather under the stars for slow, candlelit dinners shared family-style. It’s the kind of setting that helps people come home to themselves—gently, without pressure, and often without even realizing it.
So if someone comes to mind—someone who always puts others first, who’s quietly endured more than most—this is your moment to offer them what they may never ask for:
Rest. Beauty. Belonging. And a hand to hold through it all.
Because rest isn’t selfish. It’s sacred.
And sometimes, the most loving thing we can do is share it.
