A woman sitting cross-legged on the edge of a swimming pool meditating and smiling outdoors on a sunny day, wearing sunglasses, a white sweater, and coral pants.

I discovered yoga in 2010 while navigating the challenges of my role as a Citigroup executive. Its transformative power led me to become a certified instructor, shaping my inclusive, playful, and hands-on teaching style that welcomes students of all levels to embrace the joy of yoga.

My leadership journey and love of storytelling—through curating TED-style events and coaching others to reach their full potential—naturally evolved into creating immersive retreat experiences. Yoga became a way to help people relate more wisely to their minds while strengthening and energizing the body.

Every cell of my being is devoted to making life more beautiful—awakening the senses, slowing down time, and savoring meaningful moments. I’m thrilled to invite you to this retreat. Together, we’ll create lasting memories in this beautiful part of the world.

THE FAQS

  • We recommend either flying into either Marseille (shortest distance drive from airport to door -55 min), Nice (most direct flights - 2 hr 40 min drive airport to door), or flying into Paris and taking the train to Avignon (41 min drive train station to door).

We have a fabulous logistics company we can connect you to if you are looking to hire a driver to get you to and from the airport/hotel.

On your Sunday arrival day, please note you will not be able to check into your room until 3pm, so we do not recommend arriving on one of the early am flights.

The perfect time to get to our hotel will be between 3 and 4pm.  Take a load off when you arrive, or join us for a 5pm yoga class. Cocktails, jazz music and appetizers on the lawn will begin at 7pm followed by dinner.

  • September temps bring an average high of 75 and an average low of 61 degrees. Provence is known for its wind called the “Le Mistral”. Some people love it and some people don’t! Either way, plan to experience it.

  • Yoga and active outdoor clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a light jacket in case it gets chilly at night or during the day, casual clothes for dinners out, and leave a little space in your suitcase in case you want to buy things at one of the amazing Provence markets! Bastide du Mourre will have yoga mats - no need to bring!

  • Your 50% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Thank you in advance for understanding this strict policy as there is limited space on this retreat and has been designed to be almost entirely all-inclusive with privatization of the hotel and all outings paid for and planned well in advance. If you need to cancel for any reason (and forego your 50% deposit) the cancellation deadline is June 1st, 2025. Cancellations after June 1st, 2025 will be non-refundable.

  • Any and all  dietary restrictions can be accommodated on this trip as we will be working closely with the Chef at La Bastide du Mourre to curate a menu special to our group. Please just let us know of any special requests you may have. More info on the dining experience at the hotel can be found here. Similarly, all outings where meals are being provided can accommodate special dietary requests. Simply reach out to Lindsay, your host and she will work with the teams to make your gastronomy dreams come true!

  • Europe as a whole is not a huge tipping culture, but our guides work closely with Americans and have become accustomed to receiving tips. If you feel so inclined, please plan for tipping your drivers, bellman, and wait staff while off property.

  • We recommend booking spa appointments in advance of arrival as the hotel calls in therapists from the local area to work in their beautiful spa rooms. For booking, please email: direction@bastidedumourre.com

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for international trips. It can protect your investment in case of unexpected events such as flight delays, lost luggage, or medical emergencies abroad. Travel with peace of mind, knowing you're covered. If you are looking for an agent who sells travel insurance, I can recommend: Sharon Creasy with Elevation Travel. Her email is: sharon@elevtionstvl.com and her number is: 404-626-4997.
